In the last 40 years almost 1/5 of North Carolina’s fields and forest have been converted to urban use. Jobs and growth are important, but a growing economy is putting increasing pressure on water resources. The Is good news, however; there is much we can do to protect our water resources and the quality of life made possible by clean, abundant water.
