A new study shows 51% of schoolchildren attending public schools in the US come from low income families, that's according to the National Center for Education Statistics. In conjunction with the PBS documentary 180 Days: Hartsville, we look at ways NC schools are working to combat this issue. Heather Burgiss travels to Winston-Salem where one school is inspiring high achievement against the odds.
