Homer's The Odyssey tells the story of the great hero Odysseus & his return home after the Trojan War. Author Ralph Hardy has reimagined that epic as told by Argos, Odysseus' faithful dog, who awaits his master back home on the island of Ithaca. As Argos guards Odysseus' home & family, birds & sea turtles & even an occasional god or goddess bring the loyal dog news of his master.
