By the 60s the Nashville Sound had returned country music to prominence, and Music Row gained respect when Bob Dylan recorded his album "Blonde on Blonde." Musician Charlie McCoy said "It was like Dylan endorsed Nashville... he told all those people from the folk rock world that it was okay to come here."
